We invite senior-level communicators from all types of organizations: corporate, non-profit, academia, government, associations and consulting (individual practitioner, boutique or larger firms) to apply for membership. Our membership ratio of 60 percent “corporate” members and 40 percent consultants and vendors provides a rich, diverse mix of seasoned communicators from each professional area.

The Company We Keep

A typical CCM member has at least 10 years of overall business experience, with at least three of these at a manager level position in communications. His or her current responsibilities include a high-level role in internal and/or corporate communications. Our members shape and refine the communication landscape in leadership, consulting and recruiting capacities with measurable results. Perhaps most important, they candidly share knowledge and opinions, making membership a genuinely two-way experience.

Each member’s experience brings value to CCM. By openly sharing these experiences, individuals contribute to the unique professional development needs of fellow senior communicators. This qualification makes our membership process different from other professional organizations you may know. Delivered by teleconference. In these informal, one-hour forums, members gain insight into topics ranging from leading-edge employee research techniques to senior-level hiring trends. Our web surveys will cover a diverse mix of subjects relevant to our membership and our industries. While the general communications public is welcome to participate in our surveys, only CCM members will have access to the instant results of the current survey and the archive of past surveys – a valuable resource of topical information and quantifiable results.

The CCM Online Library
Gives members-only access to back issues of The Communicator, an archive of Hot Topics Summaries, Speaker Summaries from our Annual Conferences, and the ListServ database (searchable by topic and date).

Annual membership dues are $300 USD, due each year on your CCM anniversary date (the month in which your application is approved.)
